Buggle Betty Productions Case Study

Buggle Betty Productions was inspired by a staffie cross who was adopted from a dog rescue centre.

The business started in April 2017 offering a photoshoot so a graphic design could be created and framed, as well as dog themed products such as notepads and cards. But even through the product range was hugely extended and a website created in July 2018, reliance for sales was still via their Etsy page. Michaela and her partner were not sure how to drive more sales.

Michaela approached me after seeing my Instagram posts because she liked my approach and it was like “I was talking directly to her”.

Using the WOW package, I provided an analysis of the existing marketing activity and more importantly the opportunities to standout and drive sales. Their products are great so it was a matter of strengthening their brand and proposition.

My recommendation was for Buggle Betty to be the voice of the business, where she would be the centre, including ‘Made by Buggle Betty’. Overnight the positioning has transformed as previously there had been no real connection apart from the name.

Buggle Betty is CEO with her adopted hooman parents as her assistants. She runs the show and it is all about her love for her furry friends.

The Buggle Betty Productions brand is much stronger, with a clear positioning, customer offer and brand strategy. With resulting increase in engagement.

Michaela was so pleased, she asked me to develop a marketing launch strategy and plan to relaunch the business. Watch out, Buggle Betty Productions is going large!!
